Christopher I

House was just like the pictures, clean and comfortable. Pool and patio were perfect, would stay again. Family had a good time.

We've stayed at Christopher I four times now, and totally love it. The view is wonderful, and we can spend hours floating in the pool and watching the action on the lake. The house is well designed and great for our group, with plenty of space to spread out. We've stayed at the house at various times of year, and even when the weather is poor there is still plenty to do to keep everyone entertained, such as the pool table, ping pong and foosball in the garage, the video game consoles, etc.

The house is well maintained and Front Desk Vacation Rentals is very responsive in the event any issues come up. It also is stocked with nearly any imaginable kitchen appliance, tool, cutlery, etc. There is also a very detailed house binder with great information about the house and the available activities, dining, etc., in the surrounding area.

In short, we love coming to Christopher I and are looking forward to our next visit! It is our favorite place on Lake LBJ.

This was our third stay at Christopher 1. We had so much fun the first two times, we couldn’t wait to go back again. The house is beautiful, and a perfect fit for our family including our three daughters and four grandkids. The house is extremely clean. This year we got a tube to use with the pontoon boat. Everyone had a blast riding on it. The next day we rented two jet skis always. The pool is always a big hit. We grilled our dinners on the nice covered patio. The two bunk rooms are great for the grandkids. We can’t wait to go back the next year. We plan on making this a yearly tradition. Jon and Casey are great hosts. I recommend Christopher 1 for anyone who wants a wonderful stay on Lake LBJ!

A very nice home with a great view of the lake. The heated pool is great for the kids. This home is set up for a fun time for everyone.

From the second we walked in, we knew we had an amazing Spring Break coming! The house was welcoming and so clean- and you walk into the most spectacular view. The pool was large and facing the beautiful lake. The lake trampoline was such a fun addition. The kids loved swimming to it and jumping! The house also had a stand up paddle board and kayaks that we brought to lake and used. The house has a pool table, ping pong table, foosball and arcade style games! The kids loved it all when they needed a break from the sun! There were three large master bedrooms and there are two bunk rooms! The kids loved having their own space too. We grilled every night & ate at the covered backyard table (with the lake view). Jon and Casey were such a pleasure to work with! It was a wonderful stay in a beautiful house!

This was home to 12 golfers, a beautiful place with great amenities. The pool table and ping pong tables provided fun after round play. It had plenty of space for all and the Great Room was a great gathering place in the morning and evening. Many excellent golf courses were only 15-25 minutes away. The patio area with pool were a big plus. I would highly recommend this home for a golf outing such as ours or general vacation with the additional lake amenities it offers.

We had a wonderful time at Christopher 1. The house was beautiful as was the view. The whole family enjoyed the pool, and the kids had a blast on the water trampoline. The layout of the house was perfect for our crew. We hated to leave. We are still talking about how much fun we had, and we are already talking about going back next year.

Lake access, pool, all the amenities you'd want. Perfect for a family reunion. We had a great time.

This is the second time we have stayed at Christopher 1. Had a very nice experience both time. Property was well kept and well managed. Would recommend to others.

We were able to join as a family during trying times of COVID virus. Had everything we needed for swimming, playing in the lake, cooking, fishing, and perfect accommodations for several families. Who needs to fly somewhere when you have this available.

Created some wonderful family memories. House, pool, lake, and outdoor cooking on the patio were all outstanding. Very clean and comfortable.

Wow—-what a wonderful vacation we had!! It was exactly what we wanted! We loved the pool, loved the paddle boards, Loved the water trampoline, loved played ping pong and pool at night! It was a Blast!!!

This is a beautiful, clean, well-maintained property. The manager was friendly and helpful throughout the process, even in a pandemic. I have already sent photos and recommended it to my friends. With all the toys, a pool, and a lake in the backyard, we did not go out. Did not need to. Great place for July 4th!

Incredible place to make memories with your family!

The home was very welcoming. The property had everything we needed. The pool was a plus with a priceless view. Launching and loading our boat was easy and convenient.
