Lake LBJ is part of the Highland Lakes and is 50 miles northwest from Austin.  Lake LBJ is part of a 85 mile chain that also includes Lake Buchanan, Inks Lake, Lake Marble Falls, Lake Travis, Lake Austin and Town Lake.
