Front Desk Vacation Rentals takes this matter very seriously and is following public health authorities' guidance.  We follow CDC guidelines and focus on appropriate cleaning and disinfecting protocols.  The safety and wellbeing of our guests, owners and contractors is of paramount importance.  In response to coronavirus COVID-19, Front Desk Vacation Rentals is reinforcing recommended measures on appropriate hygiene standards and following the guidance of the CDC  and WHO applicable guidelines of the global and local health authorities, and taking relevant health and safety measures.  The chemicals used by FDVR are disinfectant cleaning products, including Protex Disinfectant Spray. Protex is used to disinfect the hard non-porous surfaces that receive extra activity, ie. door knobs, faucets, remote controls, light switches, lap pulls, countertops, refrigerator handles, stove/oven controls…

 

 

What precautions does Front Desk Vacation Rentals Take?

Our cleaning team has been briefed on proper cleaning procedures.  We use Protex Disinfectant Spray on hard non-porous surfaces, which is a hospital grade disinfectant spray. From Paker Labs website - Protex is a one-step cleaner/disinfectant, effective against a broad spectrum of pathogens, including MRSA, HIV, Staph and many others. Used for disinfecting ultrasound transducers, probes, mammography-compressor plates. Also for use on vinyl exam tables and athletic mats, counter tops, exercise equipment and other hard nonporous, non-critical surfaces.

 

 

 What can I do to prevent being infected by the COVID-19 virus?

Your everyday actions will help stop the spreading of this disease. This includes washing your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or using an alcohol-based hand sanitizer (when not visibly soiled); covering your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing and disposing of your used tissue in the waste basket; coughing or sneezing into elbow or upper sleeve if a tissue is not available; not touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands; avoiding personal contact with sick people such as kissing, sharing cups or eating utensils.

 

What are the symptoms of COVID-19?

Symptoms include fever, coughing and shortness of breath.

 

What should I do if I suspect I have COVID-19?

If you suspect exposure to COVID-19 or display symptoms while you are visiting us, seek medical treatment immediately.  Our rental properties are located near the Baylor, Scott & White Medical Clinic in Kingsland and Baylor, Scott & White Medical Center in Marble Falls.

Flexible, Relaxed Cancellation/Refund Policy

Front Desk Vacation Rentals is offering relaxed cancellation restrictions in light of events surrounding COVID-19, *on reservations booked before 3/16/2020.

 

* All non-refundable payments for bookings canceled can be used as a credit for another reservation at the same property within a 12 month period. Vaild on travel dates during March and April. You don’t need to make that booking right now, you can book it a later time.

 

 * For bookings more than 60 days from check-in, Front Desk Vacation Rentals collects a 25% reservation hold first payment and is moving final payment due date for 2020 bookings to 30 days prior to check-in. 

 

* For reservations with a stay night after April 30 or thereafter, you should review your booking’s cancellation policy first and take action during your cancellation window.  

 

***Please Note: Booking a reservation with Front Desk Vacation Rentals, LLC beginning March 16, 2020 or thereafter, you are:

(1 )Fully aware of the COVID-19 pandemic and are aware of the Stay At Home Ordinance while a guest at the property, Travel Restrictions, and all other ordinances that the Governor of Texas, Burnet County and Llano County has issued thus far. 

 

(2) Booking a reservation after March 16, for dates of stay between March 16-April 30 or thereafter, you are not under the flexible policy changes that Front Desk Vacation Rentals or VRBO/HomeAway has offered.

 

(3) In booking a reservation after March 16, for dates of stay between March 16-April 30 or thereafter, Front Desk Vacation Rentals will not issue a full automatic refund to guests should they wish to cancel.
